Arthur de Crook steps down as managing director of RoboValley as of February 1st. De Crook remains involved in RoboValley: as ambassador he will focus over the coming months on strengthening our current partnerships. Anouschka Versleijen succeeds De Crook as managing director ad interim.

“After three years of building we have laid down a solid foundation for RoboValley. We have worked hard in realising a robotics ecosystem that is starting to flourish. With RoboHouse, the Robotics & AI Accelerator and the start-ups that have settled here, promising robotics technology is actually being transferred to the markets”, De Crook states. “This is a good moment to step down and change focus. I am really looking forward to realising a number of big projects relating to our partnerships as ‘RoboValley ambassador’.”

Versleijen: “I would like to thank Arthur for his hard work for RoboValley over the last years. Together with the team and all partners involved, he laid the foundation for the RoboValley ecosystem. We will keep on working hard to make sure it continues to flourish.”

The RoboValley board will soon make a definitive decision about filling the position.
