Learning takes place in RoboHouse
Minor Robotics
The Minor Robotics is a 5-month educational program for third year BSc students of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering from TU Delft. Teams from all these disciplines work together on building a robot for a project client, such as for example Alliander, Deltares, Accell Group, odd.bot or Heineken. Each minor team has a workspace in RoboHouse to work on their prototype.
If you choose to become a project client in this programme, a multidisciplinary team of Minor Robotics students from Delft University and ROC Mondriaan will design and build a functional robotic prototype under your guidance. The minor runs from September to January and concludes with a Demo Day at RoboHouse on the TU Delft Campus.

Master's Robotics
TU Delft also offers a Master's degree programme for the robot engineers of the future. Students on the MSc in Robotics develop a broad range of skills at the intersection of mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, systems integration, business administration, and personal development, alongside the core technical skills. RoboHouse is also home to Asimov, the official study association for this MSc.
Main opportunities to collaborate are in:
- Multi-Disciplinary Project (MDP). In this project, different master's programmes within the TU Delft to crack challenging cases, including cases to implement innovative robotics solutions.
- Graduation projects
- Internships

Hackathon
Hackathon
Excited to dive into the robotics universe? RoboHouse is also home to the RSA (Robotics Student Association). In addition to being part of our monthly Robocafé, they organise workshops and even hackathons together with companies, like the latest AgriFood hackathon!
Asimov is the student association for the Master’s in Robotics. From robotics fairs and study trips to drinks and networking events, they make it all happen. They also represent the Master’s Robotics students and are based at the Mechanical Engineering faculty.
Interested in collaborating in a hackathon, brainstorm session, or an interactive prototyping session? See their websites below.

Hands-on robotics programme by The Hague University
In this award-winning international programme on TU Delft Campus, students of The Hague University of Applied Sciences build state-of-the-art automation prototypes for the industry. During the programme, students work with existing robots. Have a project case for an existing robotic innovation? Contact Astrid van der Niet, or read more about the programme below.
