The Minor Robotics is a 5-month educational program for third year BSc students of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering from TU Delft. Teams from all these disciplines work together on building a robot for a project client, such as for example Alliander, Deltares, Accell Group, odd.bot or Heineken. Each Minor team has an office in RoboHouse to work on their prototype.

TU Delft is also offering a Master's degree programme for robot engineer of the future. Students on the Master's in Robotics develop a wide range of skills at the intersection of mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, systems integration, business administration and personal development, alongside the 'normal' technical skills. RoboHouse is also home to Asimov, the offical study association for this MSci.

With a structured approach you learn to analyse the repetitive tasks in an organisation and determine the conditions that allow robotics applications to thrive.

Building your own robotic solution is a great way to integrate your understanding and test your assumptions. During the Develop workshops you will be working in our Test Centre and Make Space using state of the art tools, hardware and software.

ROS (Robot Operating System) is the most used software stack for robot developers. It is modular and accessible to anyone with a basic knowledge of programming, preferably Python. In 2018, RoboHouse started offering a 2-day course in ROS development with tutors from TU Delft. Since then more than 80 people have taken the training, which is scheduled four times a year.

The online education offer for professionals from TU Delft is wide-ranging and has multiple courses related to robotics. It is being improved continuously, using data analysis and course evaluations. Courses start regularly during the year.

In this award-winning international programme on TU Delft Campus, students of The Hague University of Applied Sciences build state-of-the-art automation prototypes for the industry.
