The Question

The traditional way of programming a robot requires qualified personnel and is usually very limited in adapting to changes in an object of interest or environment. This often results in additional time and cost whenever reprogramming or system adjustments are needed.

Our Answer

Imitation Learning enables people without robotics expertise to teach a robot through teleoperation. Instead of writing complex code, the user simply moves a device in the way they want it to work, the robot observes and mimics the behaviour, and then it learns to replicate it. This approach considerably lowers the barrier to programming robots.
